Dinosaur, a huge and magical creature, attracts the curiosity of countless children. From November 4th to 8th, the third season of dinosaur Science Lecture "cherish the environment and protect the earth" held by Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences and Changzhou China Dinosaur Land continued. This week, we went to five primary and secondary schools, including Australia International School, Danshuichi primary school, Weixing village primary school, Wanke golden city primary school and Attached primary school of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and sent 11 rich dinosaur science popularization lectures to students.
At the beginning of the lecture, Miss. Zou, from the China dinosaur land, started with the relationship between human beings and dinosaurs, introduced the history of dinosaur, dinosaur classification and different types of dinosaurs and their close relatives to the students in detail through explanation and interaction. "Do Herbivorous dinosaur eat grass or not?" "Bolt, the fastest human, competes with Tyrannosaurus Rex. Guess who will win?" The imaginative situational questions can arouse the students' thinking most, and their answers are also varied.
The lecture on dinosaur knowledge has built a framework for children to understand the whole content of dinosaur era, and the story of dinosaur extinction has also made them realize the impact and blow of changes in ecological environment on the earth's creatures. Through the lecture, we learned about the classification, characteristics, habits and other knowledge of dinosaurs. This kind of dinosaur Science Lecture is deeply loved by the students, and also greatly inspired their environmental awareness of cherishing the environment and protecting the earth.
