Professor Yin Hongfu, the academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, presented a lecture “Protect the Yangzi River” to more than 200 students at Yifu Museum of China University of geosciences.
Professor Yin hold that the Yangzi River region has biological diversity, which is important to China. The environment of the river is related to the development of the river area. Every person should form good habit and take concrete action to protect the Yangzi River.
This lecture was held for the 50th World Earth Day science popularization week, and the subject of this World Earth Day is “Cherish the beautiful earth and protect natural resources”.
