More than 900 teachers and students from Shashi Middle School in Hubei Province visit Yifu Museum
On March 27, 2019, more than 900 teachers and students from Shashi Middle School in Hubei Province came to the Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences to conduct a study tour on the theme of “Exploring the Mysteries of the Earth”.
During the study tour, students visited the museum's six exhibition halls under the leadership of museum staff and volunteers. They were impressed by the magnificent dinosaur skeleton fossils, the colorful mineral crystals, the fantastic gems and jewels. The major events represented by each rock specimen and the biological significance of the fossil specimens had attracted their attention and discussion. The students recorded the discovery and insights of each exhibit with their cameras and pens.
Through this study tour, the students acquired the knowledge of earth science, learned about the mineral resources of China, and enhanced the sense of mission to protect the ecological environment.
