World Autism Day “children of the stars”come to see the stars at the Yifu Museum

In order to call for more social attention and care for the autistic group, the "Happy Planet, Love is not Lonely" activity was held on April 2 at the Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences. Wang Hua, Vice President of the university, Jiang Chuanming, Deputy Director of the Organization and Association Department of the Hubei Disabled Persons Federation, Liu Fang, Secretary General of the Specialized Association of the Hubei Disabled Persons Federation, Qin Zuopeng, Researcher III of the Organization and Propaganda Department of the Wuhan Disabled Persons Federation, Li Xiaonuan, Deputy Director of the Disease Prevention and Control Department of the Wuhan Health and Health Commission, Li Yi, Director of the Wuhan Psychological Hospital, Hou Zhijun, Director of the university office, Ke Youxiang, Director of the Institute of Education and Research, undergraduate students of the university, and other units of the university. April 2, 2022 is the 15th World Autism Awareness Day, and the theme of this year's campaign is: Focus on autism services: building social security mechanisms and promoting high-quality development of service organizations. At the event, a group of autistic babies, accompanied by their guardians, volunteers and medical staff, went to the Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences to play games, look at the stars and explore the amazing ancient creatures. Meanwhile, many citizens received autism science education here.

Wang Hua, Vice President of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), said that Wuhan Psychological Hospital, as an affiliated hospital of China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), has been committed to caring for "children from the stars" and actively helping them find the key to open the windows of their hearts. As a national science education base and a second-tier national museum, China University of Geosciences (CUG) Shaw Museum has rich science education resources and will hold more science activities to care for children, send care and warmth to more autistic children and families, and improve the understanding and acceptance of autistic groups in society.

During the live broadcast of the "China University of Geosciences Yifu Museum", Tang Xiaoling, the docent of Yifu Museum, together with the host, introduced the eight planets, meteorites, the footprints of ancient life and paleontology to stimulate the scientific interest of autistic children and give more care to "star children".
