It is mainly divided into six categories: science popularization education bases of science and technology venues, science popularization education bases of education, scientific research and major projects, science popularization education bases of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers", science popularization education bases of enterprises, science popularization education bases of natural resources and other science popularization education bases. This time, a total of 800 units were identified as national popular science education bases, and 162 museums, memorials and galleries were listed.
