Colorful and diverse mineral crystals are the precious heritage of nature. They are not only the object of scientific research, raw materials for industrial and agricultural production, the cornerstone of human civilization development, but also exquisite natural works of art. The exhibition is divided into Asia, America, Europe and Africa. The minerals on display are all from famous mines or ore spots around the world.
There are 14 kg single crystals of Morganite and 3 kg single crystals of beryl. They are bright in color, dazzling in luster, and perfect in crystal form. They can be rated as the world's top exhibits. There are giant cyanite crystal clusters from South America, crystal clear aquamarine and amethyst; North American chalcopyrite crystal cluster, gold calcite and galena combination; Verdant fluorite and chrysolite from Western Europe; The colorful African emerald copper ore, malachite, Australian natural gold, azurite and many other rare treasures.
The "World Mineral Exquisite Exhibition" is sponsored by China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) and co sponsored by Yifu Museum of China University of Geosciences and Guanghua Gemstone and Art Design College of Jiangxi Institute of Applied Science and Technology. All exhibits were provided by Liu Guanghua, a 1978 alumnus and the dean of Guanghua Gem and Art Design School of Jiangxi Institute of Applied Science and Technology.
